My Story
With over 15 years of experience in traditional bow making, I am the artisan behind Devonshire Longbows, specialising in handcrafting longbows using time-honoured techniques and natural materials. Each bow is meticulously shaped using only hand tools, incorporating fine wood, leather, and rawhide to create unique, high-performance longbows. My expertise extends to multi-wood laminates and recurve designs, ensuring both durability and authenticity.
Beyond bow making, I craft high-quality leather archery accessories, including hip and back quivers, arm bracers, and calico longbow bags. Passionate about preserving the heritage of traditional archery, I have demonstrated my craft at National Trust sites across the UK, offering live demonstrations.
