We’ll be working under the large canvas Scout Tent in the fields below Tregonning Hill, so you’ll be sheltered and surrounded by a landscape rich in history as you learn the techniques used for centuries to craft wooden bows.
Skills covered will include safe tool use, shaping the stave and how to balance your bow so it shoots smoothly and reliably. The day ends with a friendly archery competition so you can try out your bow and see how it performs.
